Sherman is another precious pup in need of urgent assistance. The shelter manager called, and asked us to take this baby that needed immediate medical attention.
He had a large thermal burn along his whole back. His skin was literally falling off.
We rushed him straight to the Urgent Care, because the vet’s offices were closed. The medical team believes that his thermal burns that were caused by either extreme heat, or a hot object (maybe from hiding under a car).
He was in rough, rough shape. His skin was just falling off, and it appears necrotic in some parts. He needed immediate surgery for wound care, and to suture his back.
His surgery to help his back was $1,500.
