DALLAS DOG TURNS 10

Ten years ago, Dallas Dog began with a simple promise: to Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Reform. Since then, your compassion has transformed thousands of lives across Texas and beyond. You’ve healed the injured, uplifted the forgotten, and given hope where there was none. This milestone exists because you showed up. To celebrate our 10-year anniversary, a generous donor is matching all gifts up to $10,000. Every dollar you give today goes twice as far. Your support fuels the next decade of rescue, healing, and second chances. Together, we can save even more lives and shape a brighter future for the dogs who still need us.

GIVING TUESDAY

Every day, families in our community face impossible choices — not because they don’t love their pets, but because life has pushed them to the edge. Your generosity makes sure they never have to choose between caring for their pets and meeting their basic needs. Your gift keeps families together.

Our Community Outreach Program provides emergency food, basic vet care, essential supplies, and hands-on support to help families through their hardest moments.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re coming together to raise $10,000 to ensure no pet is lost simply because a family fell on hard times. Your kindness today changes everything.

help figgy heal

Figgy has a rare defect causing pain and vulnerability. Her $6,000 surgery will change everything. She’s only 3 months old—but her body wasn’t built right.

Figgy came to us from a breeder who surrendered her and her sister, Magpie, knowing they were born with congenital defects. It’s something we’ve sadly seen before—but Figgy’s condition is especially rare, and it’s going to take all of us to help her. This tiny Boston Terrier was born with what doctors called an anovulvar cleft—a serious and painful malformation.

SNICKERS' SURGERY

Snickers was born with a broken heart — literally. At just 5 months old, he was diagnosed with multiple severe heart defects. Without surgery, his life was at risk.

Thanks to your support, Snickers made it to Texas A&M for lifesaving heart surgery. He’s now recovering at home, full of hope. But we’re still  short on his medical bill — and we need your help to close the gap.

Slugger: THE PUPPY WHO REFUSED TO GIVE UP

Yesterday, we got the call. A stray puppy was spotted on a flooded baseball field in South Texas—sitting still on an old onion sack, not moving as the storm raged on. Animal Control searched the area in pouring rain. Nothing at first. Then Jesse saw it. A sack in the grass. Erica jumped out of the truck and ran. And there he was. Soaked. Cold. Frozen in fear. Just waiting.  He never tried to run. He never barked. He just stayed, like he believed someone was coming back.

But no one did. Until now. We named him Slugger—because he fought to survive even after being abandoned. He’s just a puppy. And he’s suffering. His gums are pale. His body is covered in ticks. Ears, belly, neck—hundreds of them. He needs urgent care: fluids, medications, bloodwork, and tick removal.

By donating to these campaigns, you directly contribute to the care and well-being of individual pets in need, ensuring they receive the necessary medical treatments, shelter, and love. Additionally, your support enables Dallas Dog to run targeted programs aimed at finding forever homes for these dogs, promoting responsible pet ownership, and advocating for animal welfare in the community. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these deserving pets, offering them a second chance at happiness and building a more compassionate society.
