Mr. Pickles

From Puppy Bowl Star to Forever Home
Mr. Pickles had an unforgettable Puppy Bowl experience!  This energetic pup stole the show at this year’s Puppy Bowl! With plenty of playing time and even some commercial features, Mr. Pickles is a true star. But his biggest victory wasn’t on the field—it was finding his forever home.

Enter Victoria Schade, a professional dog trainer, author, and the official Puppy Bowl trainer for over 20 years. Working behind the scenes, she ensures every pup gets their moment to shine—but this time, one special dog stole her heart.

Now known as Boris, this lovable Chug (Chihuahua/Pug mix) has traded in the bright lights of the Puppy Bowl for a warm and loving home. He now spends his days with his new sister, Millie the smooth Russell Griffon.

Stay tuned this week as we celebrate Boris’ journey, Victoria’s incredible work in the world of dog training, and some of our amazing adoptable dogs still waiting for their own happy endings!

LOOKING FOR YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND?

DISCLAIMERS

At Dallas DogRRR, all of our animals go through a thorough medical and behavioral evaluation process. While it’s not necessarily rigorous, each dog is carefully monitored and supported through our foster system, where they receive medical care and are observed in a home environment. Our fosters are trained to help support the behavioral needs of the animals, regularly updating us on their progress and any concerns. This allows us to disclose all known behaviors to potential adopters. However, as with any animal, new behaviors may emerge as they become more comfortable in their new home.

For our boarding dogs, many have experienced a home environment at some point and receive regular socialization and training, including the Canine Good Citizen program and work with volunteers. Some dogs also undergo more intensive training based on their individual needs.

We provide full transparency to adopters about each pet’s medical and behavioral history, but please understand that every dog’s behavior can evolve as they adjust to a new environment. However, we do not guarantee breed or age, as these details are based on the information available at the time of rescue.
