Oddie's journey has been far from easy. He recently found himself back at the vet, struggling after surgery. What was initially thought to be a routine procedure took an unexpected turn. It was discovered that Oddie's rectum had developed necrotic tissue and severe swelling due to days of being untreated for parasites. This turned a straightforward surgery into a complex, life-saving procedure, requiring abdominal surgery to assist in pulling the rectum back inside.
We all held our breath, unsure of how Oddie would fare. But this brave pup showed incredible strength and resilience. Today, we are thrilled to report that he is on the road to recovery. Oddie's progress has been nothing short of inspiring, a testament to the power of love and care.
