Senior Spotlight: Meet Dancer

Are you ready to meet a dog that's sure to dance her way into your heart?

Today, we want to introduce you to Dancer, an adorable gal who's overflowing with sweetness! She's the perfect companion for someone who's looking for unconditional love and companionship.

Dancer's a real snuggle bug who loves giving kisses and being by your side wherever you go. Her favorite thing in the world? Car rides! She'll happily hop in the car with you and accompany you on all your adventures.

This spirited lady is about 9 years old but possesses the spunk and spirit of a two-year-old. She's a bundle of energy and excitement, and her enthusiasm for life is simply infectious.

Dancer may have one distinctive feature that sets her apart - her eyes have a condition called cherry eye. However, her vet has assured us that it's purely cosmetic and doesn't affect her health or well-being. It's just a little quirk that makes Dancer even more unique and endearing.

In addition to her quirky eye, Dancer has some adorable habits that will make you smile. Sometimes, she gets a wild hair and starts doing back scratches on the rug. That's followed by a playful tail-chasing session, and then she'll just stop and bark at you, as if inviting you to join in on the fun. It's moments like these that make Dancer truly special.

She's also very good with her toiletry habits, always going outside. You won't have to worry about any surprises on your rugs or furniture.

Dancer is a delightful senior dog, almost 10 years old and weighing 17 lbs. She deserves a loving forever home where she can share her boundless affection and energy with her special someone.

If you'd like to meet Dancer and witness her charming dance of life, please visit our website at www.dallasdogrrr.org/adopt and look for Dancer. Let's make her senior years the best ones yet!

P.S.*Dancer entered the rescue on December 17, 2021, alongside her brother Dasher, who has already found his forever home. She was an owner surrender due to a family illness or situation. While she may have cherry eyes, they're not causing her any problems, and we believe she's absolutely perfect just the way she is. If there's ever a concern with her eyes in the future, it would require a specialist, but for now, she's a happy, healthy, and loving pup.
