Meet Tesha. She has just joined Dallas Dog as one of our newest intakes. Tesha's life has not been easy. Her previous owners exploited her for breeding, a life that left her with physical and emotional scars. But today, that chapter ends, and a brighter one begins. Tesha deserves a life filled with love, care, and happiness, and we are committed to providing her with just that.
Tesha's journey to a better life comes with some pressing medical needs. Her spleen, which was removed, had shrunk significantly, likely due to an embolism. We've sent it off for evaluation. Additionally, a mammary tumor has been discovered, and that is being sent off for examination as well. To make matters more urgent, she is heartworm positive.
Tesha's heartworm condition requires careful monitoring and treatment. She will need to take prednisone before receiving the treatment, and it's essential that she is observed closely. Her medical needs are pressing, and we need your help to ensure she gets the care she urgently requires.
