Another sign of the times….I believe that most of us have good intentions most of the time.
We go forward with a plan hoping for the best but sometimes things go awry and we don’t have the best plan in place after all. We constantly see this in the rescue world. People get a puppy and in most cases they just need the basic puppy vaccines and alter (which are affordable). But every once in a while, someone finds out the hard way that puppies can be naughty and get into something and get sick. That is what happened with Teak.
Life was good until he choked on something and got a severe case of aspiration pneumonia. He required 48 hours of oxygen therapy in the ER, and as everyone knows, anything in the ER does not come without a significant pricetag since it is critical care. Sadly, Teak’s family were unable to treat him so they surrendered him to the ER who then reached out to us to see if we could help. Teak is still battling pneumonia but was able to be weaned off the oxygen today, which is a step in the right direction. Please help us pay for Teak’s care so he can have a chance at a happy life.
