Meet Nick! The Handsome Boy Who Has Waited 3 Years For A Forever Home.
Updated: Sep 12, 2022
Meet Nick (AKA St. Nick). This handsome lad had a very rough start to life but since joining the Dallas Dog family he is beginning to find his luck.

Nick was left at a shelter with an eyeball hanging and detached. We don't know if he was hit by a car or injured in a fight. It just doesn't matter now because we love this boy and have helped him on his journey to happiness. Nick is a favorite of all that meet him and none of us that know him can understand why he doesn't have a foster home or a furever home.
Nick has been with the rescue for 3.5 years now! We named him St. Nick because he was saved on Christmas in 2018!

This poor baby's eye was literally hanging off of his face. Our best guess was that he had been hit by a car and the eye had been in that condition for quite some time. Even then, Dallas Dog could see past St. Nick's urgent medical needs to the sweet happy boy lying within.
St. Nick is healed physically and continues to blossom in other aspects of life. He is so sweet and LOVES cuddles. St. Nick is a Velcro baby to his "person and loves all humans in general. In turn, every human who meets Nick loves him. With proper intros, Nick has shown to do well with even tempered, playful dogs. This boy would love a family to call his own. He needs a foster home and/or forever home.
St. Nick has been working so hard at becoming the best boy. He has waited far too long for his furever home. St. Nick can be a little unsure at first, but once he realizes he is in a safe place, he comes into his true loving and playful self. The right family would be so rewarded with Nick's presence in their lives.
