PET RESOURCE TOOLBOX

Empowering Families, Supporting Pets:
Your Affordable Pet Resource Toolbox

At Dallas Dog, our mission is to empower families and support their pets through a comprehensive range of resources and services. We understand that life can present challenges, and we are dedicated to providing affordable solutions that help families maintain the well-being of their beloved pets. Our primary goal is to prevent pet surrender and reduce the number of animals entering shelters. We believe that every pet deserves a loving and stable home, and we strive to support families in keeping their pets by their side. Through our empowering families mission, we offer a safe and non-judgmental space for pet owners in need. We provide emergency pet food to ensure that no pet goes hungry during difficult times.

Additionally, we offer assistance with various pet resources, such as veterinary care, grooming, and training, to help families provide the best possible care for their pets. In cases where families are facing overwhelming circumstances and considering rehoming their pets, we encourage thoughtful deliberation and exploration of available support. Our dedicated team is here to provide guidance and connect families with external social service and animal welfare organizations that can offer further assistance. By offering this comprehensive pet resource toolbox, we aim to enhance the well-being of pets and create a stable and loving home environment. We understand that each family and pet have unique needs, and we are committed to tailoring our support to meet those individual requirements. At Dallas Dog, we believe that no family should have to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender their pet due to financial or other challenges. We are here to empower families, support their pets, and ensure that every pet can thrive in a loving and caring home.

Due to limited foster homes, our intake is currently limited. If you are in need of assistance or looking to rehome a dog, please fill out an outreach application or email hello@dallasdogrrr.org for support and guidance.

Finally, Texas has a huge pet overpopulation problem. Many northern states do not. if you have any friends or family traveling to northern states any time soon, particularly the pacific northwest (Oregon, Washington) or New England, you might try contacting rescues in those areas to see if they have any space. They sometimes do. Other northern states are worth checking into, as well.
