support cheddar's surgery

Emergency imaging revealed a diaphragmatic hernia, likely caused by past trauma. Her stomach and intestines had shifted into her chest, pressing against her lungs. One lung was beginning to collapse. This was life-threatening and could not wait. Cheddar was rushed into emergency surgery, where veterinarians moved her organs back where they belong and repaired the hernia. Without this surgery, she would not have survived. She is now out of surgery and in recovery, being closely monitored as she heals.

Cheddar’s emergency surgery and recovery care are costing nearly $12,000. So far, we’ve raised about $3,000—and we still have a long way to go. Cheddar didn’t ask for trauma. She didn’t ask for a broken body. She just needed help when she couldn’t breathe. Every dollar goes directly toward the care that saved her life and is supporting her recovery.
