Some days are full of sadness.
We always try our best to help each dog we commit to. We fight for them and try to give them a second chance at a happier life. However, some days we just can’t win. Some days we are not there in time. Today was one of those days. Despite our volunteers’ best efforts to get Buddy to the vet, we couldn’t make it in time and he passed away. We are heartbroken to say the least. We just have no words…..
Unfortunately upon rescue he collapsed, they suspected heat stroke, anemia and possible hypoglycemic.
The temperature was over 100 degrees and the expressway was closer 120-130 on the road. He just collapsed. Lifesaving efforts were made but unfortunately it was just not enough!!
