Today, we're thrilled to shine our Senior Spotlight on an incredible senior dog who's on the lookout for her forever home.
Betty Sue's journey began in January 2020 when she was rescued and adopted from us in April of the same year. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, she was recently returned to our care. Her previous owner, who is moving into assisted living, was devastated to have to say goodbye.
At nearly 11 years old, Betty Sue is a true treasure. She embodies all the qualities one could hope for in a canine companion. She is a relaxed and laid-back sweetheart who forms instant friendships with cats, dogs, and everyone lucky enough to meet her. Her gentle and sociable nature makes her a beloved figure among all.
Betty Sue is currently carrying some extra weight, tipping the scales at 79.8 lbs. Her ideal weight should hover around 40 lbs. We are diligently implementing her diet to help her shed those extra pounds and enhance her overall well-being. Your guidance and support in continuing her weight loss journey would be incredibly valuable when she transitions to her new home.
Despite her weight, Betty Sue's lovable spirit shines brightly. She is an extraordinary companion who will fill your days with unending joy. Her loyalty, companionship, and affection are insurmountable.
