SUMMARY -
Gypsy had a horrific start to her life. She was left in a dumpster with her muzzle taped shut, her tail and legs burned from being left in her urine and feces. Thankfully someone found her and DogRRR quickly welcomed her to the rescue. Gypsy is thriving in foster care and is looking for her furever home. She is such a litter warrior she was rescued, learned to trust people she still gets nervous in the car. She has had two surgeries she was spayed and then had cherry eye surgery. She will be heading to to our partners in Seattle Washington. Gypsy had a horrific start to her life. I am at a loss for words. How does this happen? How does someone tape a puppy’s muzzle closed and then throw it away like trash?!!
Take a look at the photo I received when I was called. The shelter and the police are investigating this as a cruelty case and will be moving forward with cruelty charges. Gypsy is heading straight to our veterinarian’s office and will receive a thorough examination and everything will be documented!
This dog's fate is tragic. We are working to get her better.

GYSPY was thrown away like trash in a dumpster with a muzzle on her mouth! She is about 14 weeks old and weighs about 15 lbs, she is small, but not tiny!!
What made anyone do this to a helpless and innocent creature, I do NOT know. There is absolutely NO reason in this day and age with so many resources at your fingertips!!
Well, Gypsy is a little underweight, she is super happy!! She still smells of trash after two baths 🛁! I held her after she first arrived and she smelled of trash, urine, and feces. Her nails are long and she has cherry eyes that will need surgery. Overall no major injuries. Her body is stained from urine, her nose has markings where the muzzle was.
The investigation is still pending. The police are working with the shelter and we are hopeful Gypsy's abusers will be found and prosecuted!!
