Canine Good Citizen Class

WHAT IS THIS CLASS? This is where you help one of our boarding dogs become the best they can be to help them break out of boarding and find their forever home! What do you do well you pick a boarding dog that you will commit to month after month till they learn their 'Canine Good Citizen is a 10-skill test" 

How does this help? It will teach them good manners preparing them for responsible dog ownership! BEST OF ALL IT WILL MAKE THEM MORE ADOPTABLE! For this event is REQUIRED FOR YOU TO RSVP. 

Why? Jennifer our training will meet to discuss which dog at boarding is ready for the training and will you be the best match! Commitment- We meet monthly we ask that you commit to those meetings- these dogs are counting on you to be able to practice the skills. Can you go up more frequently? Yes you can once Jennifer gives you the ok, you can arrange a time within operating hours to take a pup our and practice their skills. What is required? You must have a volunteer application on file. WHAT WE DO.... We focus on teaching the volunteers handling skills (a lifetime skill set) and then pair you with a boarding dog. We work on the 10 test items until you and your dog pass the test. This is such a crucial way to support Dallas DogRRR boarding dogs and keep the rescue rescuing. It is another way to learn how to teach your own personal animals to be well balanced pups.
