Help Magnolia

It all began when we received a call from one of our trusted veterinarian practices. They had a patient who arrived in rough shape, her condition critical. Magnolia was extremely lethargic, suffering from excessive vomiting and diarrhea, and she was growing weaker by the moment.

Our dedicated team of volunteers and vets immediately sprang into action. They conducted a thorough examination, which included X-rays and ultrasound. What they discovered was heart-wrenching – Magnolia had a severe blockage in her digestive system. Her life hung in the balance, and we knew we had to act swiftly to save her from further suffering.

Without hesitation, we made the decision to welcome Magnolia into our rescue family. Magnolia's ordeal didn't end with the surgery. She had endured multiple C-sections and arrived severely underweight. The cause of her obstruction turned out to be parts of a chewed-up collar or leash. These dangerous objects could have cost her life if not promptly removed by our dedicated team of professionals.

While Magnolia has made it through the surgery, she is still in a delicate state. She's weak and has yet to regain her appetite. But her incredible resilience and will to live shine brightly.

We are profoundly grateful to everyone who played a role in saving Magnolia, from the shelter staff who first responded to her needs to the dedicated veterinary team who performed her surgery.
